Tennis Battles Chadwick

JV Tennis beat Chadwick 13-5!!  The team rallied in the third round to overtake the Dolphins!  The Tigers are 9-0 in League!

Varsity tennis had a thriller down in Palos Verdes.  The Tigers advanced to the final round down 5-7 and nearly pulled off a tie.  Had the Tigers been able to tie Westridge would have won 76-75.  However, it just wasn’t meant to be.  After an amazing comeback, the Tigers fell 10-8.  Varsity Tennis is now 14-1 overall and 8-1 in league.  Not to worry, every match makes us stronger!!

Tennis is UNBELIEVABLE!!

Both JV and Varsity tennis are undefeated in Prep League play!!!  The Tigers competed against the Polytechnic Panthers on Wednesday and did a FABULOUS! job!!  JV had a close match, but edged out the Panthers in the third and final round, 13-5!!  Varsity tennis went UNDEFEATED first round to launch a 6-0 lead!!  Cameron Marsh ’14 had the comeback of the decade as she was down 1-4 in the first round and dug hard to win 7-5!!  The Tigers continued to ROAR as they finished 14-4!!  Varsity tennis now stands at 14-0!!!!

MS Volleyball Keeps the Crowd on the Edge of their Seats!

Let me just state up front — both White and Green teams won!!!  However, the drama surrounding those two Rio Hondo Prep wins was almost more than the crowd could handle.  Both teams went to three games — both teams won fighting off a point by point surge from the Kares!  If you think that was fun, be in Hoffman Gym again today — who knows what might occur!!

Winding Down at the Pan Ams

Hi Coach Horn! Yesterday was the awards ceremony, and it was really cool! We all got a medal and a stuffed animal of one of the three mascots. The medal is a diamond-ish shape, and really heavy! When we walked out of the venue we were swarmed with people wanting to take pictures with us, so we took about 25 pictures with people.
