Lacrosse Finishes Strong!

JV Lacrosse faced Chadwick in their final game of the season and played their best game of the year! While the score ended 2-3 in the Dolphins favor the Tigers made great strides. Both Christie Huang and Angela Sun scored goals! And, the official stated that goalie, Karina Sloan, was “on fire”! Nice 😉

Varsity Lacrosse (pictured) had their final game against Crescenta Valley HIgh School at home in one of the most thrilling games of the year! The Tigers jumped to a 3-1 halftime lead, but the Spartans came back early in the second half. The game seesawed back and forth with a tie at the end of regulation. After two overtime periods, the teams went into “sudden death”. Goalie Laurence Diarra had an amazing save after a penalty, but the Spartans came through with the winning goal before the Tigers could get on the board. Nonetheless, it was a brilliant game! A truly a defensive marvel! Leading in goals was Natalie Pearson with 3, Rachel Dillman with 2 and Camille Lin with 1! Laurence also had 7 saves for the game!

Congratulations, Lacrosse, on a great season!

MS Softball Improves

Middle School Softball comes from behind! The Tigers were down 5 runs in the first inning against Flintridge Prep, but managed a rally of their own to close the gap. With great base running and enthusiasm the Tigers ended 10-12 for the game! Great improvement this week!

And, the Tigers played a very close game today at Clairbourn School.  Tied 7-7 the Tigers had the bases loaded but couldn’t quite get a run and lost 7-8.  Getting closer each game!
